Common Name or Meaning The Conical Stigma Pleurothallis

Found in Ecuador in very wet montane cloud forests as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial on road cuts and steep embankments and an epiphyte at elevations of 1250 to 1500 meters with a short rhizome, an elongate, slender, erect ramicaul enveloped basally by 2 to 3, close, tubular sheaths and another on the lower third and carrying a single, apical, narrowly cordate, acute leaf and blooms in the late winter through summer with successive opening single flowers on a fasciculcate, very short inflorescence arising from a spathe holding the non-resupinate flower close to the leaf base.

CAUTION I am not sure of this determination so please use with caution. The lip is not right although all other segments fit.
