Common Name The Been There Before Not Pleurothallis
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
Found in Esmeraldas Ecuador at elevations around 750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect, terete ramicauls with a few close, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, spreading, coriaceous, ovate, acute, shortly acuminate, basally cordate and sessile leaf that blooms in the winter on a suberect, .6 to .8" [1.6 to 2 cm] long, fascile of successively single flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the base of the leaf
CAUTION I am not happy with this determination, the sepals are too wide, the petals droop and are humped on top as well as not having serrate margins, the leaf is not cordate and the flower is held off the leaf, all these characters point to this being incorrect so please use with caution
Synonyms Acronia dejavu (Luer & Hirtz) Luer 2005; Zosterophyllanthos dejavu (Luer & Hirtz) Szlach. & Kulak 2006
