Found in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras at elevatiosn of 150 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature szied, hot growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erct, coriaceous, obovate, obtuse to rounded, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall winter and spring on a slender, erect, 1/4" [8 to 9 mm] long, loosely, sucessively 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul and is shorter than the leaves
