Common Name Saunder's Pleurothallis [English Orchid And Bromeliad Enthusiast 1800's]

Found in Colombia, Bolivia, Peru and southeastern Brazil as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 1 to 2000 meters with an erect, ramicaul enveloped basally by a few tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-lanceolate, obtuse, rigid, green leaf that blooms in the fall to winter on a racemose, 6" [15 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence arising from the base of the leaf with all the flowers held in one direction.

The ensitu plant photo is from Boia Ceia', Sao Paulo State, Brazil at an elevation of 2 meters in the first scrub hammock on the beach on trunks and limbs of small trees with lichen.
