Found in Costa Rica, Panama and Peru? in cloud forests at elevations of 700 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with thick ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, lanceolate, subfalcate, cordate, attenuate to the 3 dentate apex leaf that blooms at any time of the year on a successively single flowered fascile arising from a triangular spathe.
