Common Name or Meaning The Yauapery Acianthera [A river in Roraima state of Brazil]

Found in Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, Guyana, Fr Guiana, Surinam and northern Brazil in rainforests at elevations of 100 to 1000 meters as a creeping, miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte or lithophyte with stout, erect to suberect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubualr sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical to broadly elliptical, otuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf often purple below leaves that blooms on an erect, to arching, subflexuous, successively many flowered inflorescence.
