Common Name The Callosed Phallus Pelexia

Flower Size .8" [2 cm] long

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil in quartzite sand in full sun at elevations of 900 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial without leaves at blooming occuring in the fall on an erect, velvety, peduncle 4.8 to 6" [12 to 15 cm] long, proided with light green, hairy, provided with 4, cylindrical, vestigal sheathing bracts, rachis 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm] long, 12 to 16 flowered inflorescence

Allied with Pteroglossa hilariana
